An Idiotipycal form of living
The essential elements, principals of the d&b way life form: beer, dog, TV, bed, lounge, munch, perhaps garden and a minimal financial income (e.g. night guard's job, unemployment benefit). Also some connected activities: walking the dog, drinking beer, sleeping, eating, gardening, related housework (as bathing the dog); all projects that conclude in meditating, free experiencing, contemplating as those are the aims of this kind of living.
Some would say it means being a layabout, which is a complete misinterpretation. These people, who are unfamiliar with the main ideas of the d&b, are the constractionworker-type ones, or those who strive to be those. They define the d&b's as layabouts with complete abhorrence, which is rather a racist behaviour. It all follows the "constructionworker mentality", and it is obvious that these two forms of being are antithesis of one another.
The d&b is an ideal situation, the maximal manifestation of which is the state of free-mind* (or C. W.'s would say layabout). This is the most effective form that is equal with meditation in other cultures.

About it's appearance
The d&b is not a magazine, but set of works discussing this lifestyle, in any kind of media (picture, object, text, film, music etc). Also it is not magazine, as the traditional meaning of this word is shop or periodical with bright pictures, etc. A kind of show, everything that is colourful, and can be presented. It has no columns, no particular themes to expropriate. As the d&b is not magazine, it will always contain all new and old works, and there are no editions. All works connected to this lifestyle will be accepted.

We are NOT dealing with:
Ř Fashion, interior design, politics
Ř Intellectual, sentimental stagy viewpoint is excluded
Ř Socialist nostalgia
Ř All kinds of trash - it means excluding all trendy shit

* Free mind is a superficial form of being, which can conclude in the retheorizing of everyday life. It gives the opportunity to create great things, just as the buildworkers do. Although, unlikely to their creations, the free-mind is something you can not touch.
